Our Backpacking Trips

so here i am. 10′ o’clock in the morning. sitting here in my “dance in contemporary culture” class. bored to shit outta my mind, just so happens next to me sits two bimbos yuppies. my professor in this class is such an artist a retard, she passed the list of students and had the students take roll for each other. so we’re sitting in a giant circle, one person calls out a name then pass the list off to the next person. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!! or maybe i’m just pissed because i know someone is gonna butcher my name. why am i taking this class you ask? what do i have to do with dance? NOTHING!! cal poly is forcing me to take this class, if i dont i cant graduate. it was either this or asian american studies or latin history or some other really bullshit weird class. at least this class has NO EXAMS, yea… no exams = bullshit. the first thing that came to mind when i registered for this class was:

maybe i’m too much of numbers person, i totally dont get it. right now we’re doing this thing where she pulled out all the students that wore watches today (thank god i didnt wear a watch) and had them put themselves into alpha order by first names. then asked the students sitting down some other questions then someone else suggested that they can order themselves by last names and in reverse alpha order. after that was done… she went on and said how that was “art”. thank god there arent any exams in this class or i would TOTALLY FAIL.

i am sitting here totally restless sitting here! not because its not interesting in here… its because I MISSED A CALL!!! not just any call. i missed Miles Bernald’s and who is this Miles guy you ask? he is the HR recruiter for Lisi Aerospace. I emailed him my resume and coverletter for a Junior Cost Accounting position yesterday and he emailed me back RIGHT AWAY. his email asked that i call him. i was, i was gonna call him today after i get out of class but he beat me to it. he called me today at 8:30!! we talked for about 20 mins. he likes me. but he needs someone with costing experience right away and they dont want a part time. but he wants to do something for me because he “likes” me. he just called me back like 30 mins ago and i couldnt answer it. i’m stuck in a corner in class. i cannot stand being broke unemployed any longer!

unlike acromil, Lisi is a HUGE aerospace company, they are global and are publically traded on the stock market. this is a GREAT opportunity to get my foot into the cost accounting world for me to find stable work. oh geez, i’m dying to get out of here and give Miles a call back. god dammit!!
