the last time i took a GE class was probably like…. back in my 2nd year of college so i forgot what its like to learn something else other than accounting. i’m so used to hearing the usual terms: debits, credits, cost of goods sold, expensed, revenue, net income, balance sheet, cash flow, pension, tax, payable… ect. now i’m hearing “contentional drift” and “triassic” and some other terms that i’ve heard before but dont really care about. i thought this would be an easy qtr but i dont think thats how its gonna turn out. its like my brain shut out everything else that doesnt have to do with accounting, its refusing to take in any information that doesnt have anything to do with accounting. i am so restless in this class (california geography). time is dragging its feet. i cant believe the guys sitting next to me are taking notes on the lecture. WHAT IS THERE TO TAKE NOTES ABOUT?!

anyways… i paid my $40 graduation fee. after i get done with my oceanography class i’m headed over to the registrar’s office to drop off the graduation application form (which has been date/time stamped “paid”). i’m pretty much good to go. i’m ready to walk into the world with my soon to be fully educated brain. WORLD: HERE I COME!! but the job market is really bad right now… unemployment rate is at 5.1%, yikes!
