hi, my name is michael, and i’m addicted to pixel junk monsters.

oh, and i love hate this game. it drives me nuts! i’m ready to pull my hair out! why do i keep playing it? because it’s like crack (except you have dancing villagers and oh so annoying flying what-cha-ma-call-it thingys). the game looks innocent enough. i mean, how can you get angry at such a cute monster:

If you see this guy on the street. avoid at all costs! he will stomp on you and munch on you! he did that to my villagers! i had a perfect game going (on a level i must have tried over 15 times on) until he couldn’t be stopped by my six seven mortar guns! you would think a “snail” would move slow.. but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO he danced his way through my six seven mortar guns. who does he think he is? jackie chen?

argh! i am soooooo mad! anyway, i need to get my fix.. who wants in?

call me noob but… THIS IS SO COOL! i have no idea what a wordpress blog is but i guess now i do? from now on i think i’m going to quit blogging in my myspace blog, even though i already have like over 350 posts on there. this is def better… myspace is sooo 2005 and its frowned upon in the n3rd community to even mention the word “myspace”.

its a bit nippy to head out for some backpacking action… imo. according to johnny mountain its supposed to rain weds, thursday, and next monday and tuesday. this gives me the perfect op to milk my season pass at bear mountain!

i am totally down for death valley. i can carry 10 gallons of water, bailey (aka bdawg) the beagle can strap on another 5 gallons of water… i think that should be enough? if not i’ll just drink mo’s or michael’s water. i know i have a 3 day weekend some time durning this spring qtr but i’m not sure exactly when. i cant wait to dust off my backpacking gear!! not to mention test out my solar charger that i bought last season but never had the chance to use.

another good backpacking location is: GRAND CANYON!!! um hello?!?!?!

Yes, I know! You’re thinking to yourself.. just what the world needs.. another wordpress blog. Well boo-hoo.

I know we haven’t been backpacking in a long time recently, but summer is quickly approaching and we just *might* be able to squeeze in a few trips. Plus this gives me us a chance to get back in shape. I know Mo wants to go in April, but perhaps we can wait until after my GMAT? Pretty please?

You won’t freeze and die a horrible death.
It’s too rushed to plan a trip in April.
It will be summer-time and we’ll all feel more relaxed.
We can ALL go.
Did I mention we can ALL go if we schedule it at a later date?

Death Valley does look like a nice trip, though I’m not looking forward to carrying 50 gallons of water on my back.

I’ll do some more research on possible trip locations.
